Drainage of Ajurinkatu will be improved – no through traffic the week of October 13th

The City of Riihimäki is building two new rainwater wells in the Hirsimäki district at Ajurinkatu 27–29 and repairing frost damage at the intersection of Lopentie and Ajurinkatu.

The work will begin on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 7:00 AM and will end no later than Friday, October 17, 2025.

Ajurinkatu will be cut off from the passage at this point. It is not possible to arrange passage through the area during the work. Access to the properties will remain, but the routes may change as the work progresses. Rescue, waste management and distribution traffic will be taken into account in the work arrangements.

The work may cause noise and dust in the surrounding area. Please observe speed limits and warning signs in the work area.
