The construction of the Agantie extension will begin on Monday, September 1st.

Agantie is located in Riihimäki, in the Kaunola district. The area has a valid local plan and a street plan has been prepared for the site. The construction plan is in accordance with the plan and street plan.

The contractor on the site is Maanrakennus Aaltonen Oy.

The aim of the change to the Agantie street plan is to streamline traffic by extending the roadway to the end of the street area according to the plan. A turning area will be built at the end of the street and a stop recess will be built at the current R-kyydi stop. The project will be implemented as a joint procurement between the City of Riihimäki and Linde Gas Ab.

The construction site will cause exceptions to light traffic. The light traffic route from Kaunola in the direction of Linde Gas and Reka Oy will have to be temporarily closed for the duration of the work.

The work is scheduled to be completed at the end of October 2025.
