  • A total of 16 representatives from 2nd to 5th grades will be selected for the study. Two representatives and alternate members are elected from each class. The selection usually takes place at the beginning of the semester by voting in classes.

Oppis meets every week with one long break. Oppis members have participated very well in the meetings

The students think together about the projects they want to bring up in school. In the meetings, the realization of the projects is planned, implemented and evaluated. Projects have included, for example, a reading campaign, increasing physical activity, a buddy pass and a traditional wool sock day. We have planned events together, the content of which has been implemented by each representative of the lesson in his own class.

  • The parents' association works to promote cooperation between home and school. Each age group is represented by 1-3 parents. Representatives are usually elected to the association for two years at a time. Feedback, ideas and more detailed information about the activities of the parents' association can be found on Facebook under the name Pohjoisen koulun anemppainhdistys.
