  • The final year of the three-year arts and crafts journey will start in autumn 2026, when the visual arts and arts groups will merge. The study place will be automatically retained, and no further registration for adult art education is required. During the spring, students will learn about the artistic process from idea to finished work and exhibition. The work progresses from ideation and delimitation of the topic to implementation, finalization and presentation through sketching, experiments, discussions and reflection. The process is documented in a process notebook. The course also introduces the artist's professional practices, introduces self-talking artists and carries out various exercises. Exhibition visits, peer discussions and small group work support the development of one's own theme and work plan. The focus of the spring semester is on the realization of one's own work or a set of works and the refinement of visual solutions. The course culminates in the finalization, hanging and presentation of the works, as well as self-evaluation and peer feedback.

Basic art education for adults follows national curriculum principles. The goal is to give students the skills to understand and interpret visual phenomena in the environment and in different cultures, and to apply what they have learned in different areas of life.
