The task of the music school
The College of Music offers students opportunities to study music long-term, purposefully and in line with their own interests. The teaching is goal-oriented and progresses from one level to the next, and it promotes the development of a relationship with music and lifelong enjoyment of music. The teaching develops skills specific to the art field, is based on a multi-valued and renewing cultural heritage and provides the skills to apply for professional and higher education in music.
Set of values
Basic art education is based on respect for human rights, equality, equality and the diversity of cultures. Every person is unique and valuable as an individual and as a member of communities. Education promotes gender equality and respects gender diversity. Teaching supports growing as a person by developing thinking skills and creativity.
Playing music raises questions that guide you to think about and evaluate what is meaningful and valuable in life and creates the basis for a socially and culturally sustainable future.
Concept of learning
The student is an active actor. He learns to set goals and to act in line with them both independently and together with others. Positive emotional experiences, the joy of learning and new creative activities, as well as interaction with the environment promote learning and inspire to develop one's own competence.
Studying music is a comprehensive and interactive process that develops the student's skills and knowledge in a variety of ways and strengthens his well-being and cultural inclusion.
