Student union
The student union of Riihimäki adult education center is an independent association operating in connection with the college. The operational idea is to support studying and to maintain and develop a sense of togetherness in study groups and between groups.
The student union organizes trips to hobby, cultural and fair events. The student union cafeteria operates in connection with adult education center events.
The association is responsible for Leporanta, which is primarily a summer place available for students and staff of the adult education center. You can find more detailed information about reserving usage shifts and prices at the end of this page.

All students and persons who support the activities of the adult education center can join the student union. Members receive discounts on Leporanta's usage fees and the prices of student union trips.
Become a member by filling out the contact form in the college office or by contacting the board members. The board of the association sends a membership letter and a membership fee invoice of €15, upon payment of which the membership becomes effective.

Leporanta
The summer place in Launoiset, in Loppi, was acquired in 1927 with the help of Riihimäki adult education center students and fundraising. The student union has the right to manage the Leporanta property, and according to a separate agreement on municipalization, Riihimäki adult education center and the students have the primary right to use it. Other residents of Riihimäki also have a secondary right to use the area and its services.
The main building has a kitchen and a room with a fireplace, and two bedrooms in the attic. The beach has a sauna and a boat, as well as two barbecue areas. Leporanta's address is Suviniementie 283.
There is a spring water well on the beach, no water and sewage network. The kitchen equipment includes a stove and oven, a refrigerator and a two-liter coffee maker. There are a few pots, a frying pan and dishes in the cupboard. There are cups for serving coffee for about 20 people and cutlery for about 10 people. There is a brick pan at the grill.
The bedrooms at the attic have wardrobes, mattresses and pillows, you can sleep with your own bedding. Outhouse toilets can be found on the slope. The sauna has two separate changing rooms and a heater with continuous heating. Well water comes from the tap into the sauna. The boats can accommodate 7–10 people. An expense allowance is charged for saunas and private reservations, which covers Leporanta's care costs.
In Leporanta, the board is elected annually at the annual meeting of the student association to maintain the place.

Leporanta can be booked for family parties or recreation days for associations and companies, etc. for private events.

The sauna cannot be booked for Monday, nor for Thursday, which is a swimming and sauna day open to everyone. The Thursday sauna is warm from 17:20 to 3:XNUMX. The price is XNUMX e/person, paid in cash.
