Riutta's birds are diverse. More than 30 different bird species nest in the area. The most common bird species are the robin, finch and willow bird. Among the woodpeckers in Riutta's forests, you can find the pine woodpecker and the woodpecker. A plover, which is a species of Annex I of the EU Birds Directive, and a warbler, which is classified as a species to watch out for (NT) in the endangered classification, have been found nesting on the reef. In addition, the wood warbler, the ruffed grouse, which is rare in southern Finland in some places, the tufted tit and the tree climber bring their own spectrum to the birdlife of the region.
