Riihimäki Pride

The Riihimäki Pride festival has been celebrated by the City of Riihimäki since 2019. The background is a council initiative submitted in 2018, initiated by Miia Nahkuri (SDP), Sari Jokinen (Greens) and Aino-Kaisa Pekonen (Left), and Riihimäki Pride is celebrated annually in June with a parade and community celebration.

Welcome to celebrate love and equality in Riihimäki on Friday, June 26.6th!
The Pride parade starts from Riihimäki Theatre at 5:45 PM and arrives at Anton's house at 6 PM, where the evening continues in a relaxed picnic spirit.

Anton's stage will feature a stunning lineup of performers:
Party band Former men
Duo Butterfly
Drag kings Magnus Love & Dick Weenie – ready to blow up the party atmosphere!

Bring a blanket, bring your friends and come celebrate diversity, joy and equality. Welcome!

After the workshop, you can hide your rainbow stone around the city, or take it home with you. The goal is to fill the city with joyful stones that exude hope and community.
Come alone, with friends or with family – everyone is welcome to paint, chat and celebrate diversity.

Let's make the city a little more colorful together!
