Cultural Act of the Year 2025 Award for Riihimäki Hardcore

The Riihimäki Hardcore group received the Cultural Deed of the Year 2025 award. The value of the award is 1000 euros. The reasons for the award state that Riihimäki Hardcore has been organizing events in Riihimäki with all their might for ten years, enriching and diversifying the local cultural offering. Riihimäki Hardcore's activities are seen as valuable and reinforce the experience that culture belongs to everyone.

The award was presented on February 4, 2026 at Anton's house. The selection was made based on suggestions from the city's residents. Suggestions for the award recipient could be submitted between September 11 and November 30, 2025. The award recipient was decided by the City of Riihimäki's Vitality Committee at its meeting in December 2025.

The Cultural Act of the Year award aims to recognize distinguished cultural actors and cultural acts of the year in Riihimäki, as well as to highlight local creative expertise. The Cultural Act of the Year award was presented for the second time.
