Riihimäki culture recognition awards

Suggest a Cultural Act of the Year 2024

The city of Riihimäki is seeking candidates for the "Cultural act of the year 2024" award. You can submit your proposal as a prize winner between 11.9 September and 30.11.2024 November XNUMX from this link.

The purpose of the Cultural Act of the Year recognition award is to recognize distinguished cultural actors and cultural acts of the year in Riihimäki, and to make local creative skills visible.

The recognition award can be based on:

  • cultural act or cultural event
  • an artist who lives permanently in Riihimäki and works professionally in his field of art
  • a part-time or full-time cultural sector operator who has promoted and strengthened local cultural offerings through his activities.

The recipient of the award is selected based on the proposals, and the award is given by the Riihimäki City Vitality Board. The amount of the prize is 1000 euros. The prize will be awarded in February 2025.

In 2024, only the Culture Act of the Year award will be awarded. In previous years, the Riihimäkeläinen young artist of the year recognition award and the Culture recognition award have been given, the recipients of which you can see below.
