Youth services will organize free and drug-free activities in the summer of 2026.

Summer program

Youth Center Monari (Uudenmaankatu 1) is open from June 2nd to 16th on Tuesdays and Fridays from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The age range is 6th graders to 20-year-olds.
Picnic in Library Park on Tuesdays from 2 to 30 June from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. In case of bad weather, the picnic will be moved indoors in the library in Erkkanurkka.
BBQ for all ages June 4th – July 30th in the Monari courtyard from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, grill hot from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. In case of rain, we will move inside Monari.
The young adults' (18-29 year old) café pOint is open all summer on Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Summer packages starting June 26th on Fridays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Summer Tuesdays for Seekers every Tuesday from June to July at 2:00-3:00/4:00 p.m.
Ohjaamo Riihimäki region is open normally in June. In July, open on Wednesdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Youth services staff also occasionally visit the city during the summer. Follow our social media to know where we are going.
