Cycling tracks and a skatepark
A dedicated area for skateboarding has been built next to our ice rinks, and scooter riders are also welcome to do tricks there. In Haapahuhta and at Herajoki School, it is possible to ride on the Pump Track bike track.
The Herajoki Pump Track cycle track
The Herajoki Pump Track is a bicycle track where the aim is to progress without pedaling by pumping up and down the hills. The track is located in the yard of Herajoki school. The Pump Track was completed on August 1.8, 2017. The track was implemented in cooperation with Riihimäki City's Sports Services' Moving School project, Herajoki School, RRC9001 Ry.
Haapahuhta cycling track
The track paved with stone ash has been built in the area of the hill in the Haapahuhta school yard. The Haapahuhta track is smoother than the Herajoki track and you can ride it by pedaling through it.
The Haapahuhta cycling track has been implemented with Riihimäki city's Likkuva koulu project, Haapahuhta school, R.RC.9001 Ry's Ari Peltopuro and Maanrakenkus Javanainen. The track was completed on May 16.5.2019, XNUMX.
Skate park
