Outdoor pool
The Riihimäki outdoor swimming pool is open until Sunday, August 17th, at 18 pm. The indoor swimming pool will open immediately afterwards on Monday, August 18th, at 6 am. The outdoor swimming pool opened for the 2025 summer season on Monday, June 2nd.
Access to the outdoor swimming pool is through the entrance to the swimming hall. Only the ticket office and the café are open in the swimming hall during the summer. The swimming hall pools, gym, saunas, laundry and changing rooms are closed during the outdoor swimming season.
The new sauna at the outdoor swimming pool has been built at the shallow end of the 50-meter pool. The swimming pool's diving pool has a Wibit water trick track at the shallow end.
The swimming pool is located on a scenic ridge next to the water tower at Salpausseläntie 16. It is only a little over a kilometer away from Riihimäki train station.
The outdoor swimming pool, completed in 1956, has been used to film, among other things, diving scenes for Spede Pasanen's film Millipilleri.
