Track situation update in the winter season 

The most up-to-date information on the condition of the trails and ice fields can be found on the Riihimäki map service. Maintenance information on the city's trails and ice fields is now available on the city's map service at https://kartta.riihimaki.fi.

On the home page, select “Select information to display on the map” from the map menu to display maintenance information for the tracks and ice fields. The background color of the tracks and fields changes on the map depending on how long it has been since the maintenance. The service also shows the last maintenance time. The information is updated automatically once an hour and with a small delay so that the machines can work in peace until the end of their work. The tracks in the service at this stage are the illuminated main tracks Riutta, Vahteristo and Varuskunta.

A dog track about a kilometer long can be found in the field north of Haapahuhda school (Haapahuhdantie 12). The best way to get to the track is from the middle of the field along the track. You can park your car in the school's parking spaces.
Please note that there is an outer ring for dog skiing, which is made only for free style. Please also remember to always keep the dog on a leash and pick up your dog's waste.
