Standard shifts

Standard shifts in our gyms are applied for at the beginning of the year at a time to be announced separately. Shifts are also granted outside the season, if there are free times at the sports facilities. You can inquire about shifts outside of the standard shift application period from our respective sports facility managers. You can check the reservation status in the space reservation calendar.

  • Application period: 3.2.-23.2.2025

    If there is no need for the use of two halls in May, the old hall will be closed at the end of the standard day at the end of April 2025.
    The shifts for August 2025 and the winter season 2025-2026 will be applied for at a later date.

    We hope that the search for shifts will primarily be done using an electronic form. When applying with a possible joint application, everyone involved in the application must fill out the application in one turn. Please read the standard shift application instructions before submitting your application.

Winter shifts can be applied for in our electronic space reservation system and the link can be found at the bottom of the winter shifts section. We hope that you will primarily apply for shifts using electronic forms. If you apply for shifts using paper forms, they must be returned to the swimming pool before the application period expires in an envelope addressed to Päivi Kallio or to the address Uimahalli, Päivi Kallio, Salpausseläntie 16, 11100 Riihimäki.

    Standard shifts are applied for electronically. reservation system through

    1. Standard shifts are applied for one season at a time. Please apply for shifts primarily using the electronic form.
    2. Summer and winter shifts must be applied for on their own forms.
    3. In the standard shift application, the start and end time of the season must be stated, if it differs from the standard shift. The period cannot be longer than a standard day.
    4. In addition to the billing address, the standard shift application must include the contact person's e-mail address, phone number and Y-ID. The Y code is always used, if the club/association has one. We do not send invoices to email addresses.
    5. Standard shifts can be canceled at a time only until the end of the standard day to which the standard shift decision applies.
    6. The standard shift can be canceled two weeks before the shift free of charge. We bill non-cancelled (or less than two weeks) shifts according to the normal price list.
    7. We do not bill for shifts we cancel due to an event or force majeure situation.
    8. Within the club, teams in the same price category can exchange shifts with each other.
    9. If the price category changes, it must be reported immediately. The number of price class changes is a maximum of two times per season.
    10. The booker may not rent out their shifts.
    11. The booker normally applies for one-off reservations for competitions, tournaments, etc. in connection with standard shifts, and immediately informs them of the days when the requested shifts are available. The extra shifts will be canceled immediately after this and returned to be booked by others. The innings mainly go ahead of the standard innings. One-off events are subject to a two-week cancellation obligation.
    12. Standard shifts will not be granted if all the reservation, contact person and invoicing information required in the application has not been submitted in connection with the standard shift search in the application. Applications must also be submitted in the event that the place makes a joint application proposal. For the clubs involved in the joint application proposal, it is enough to fill in the information of one of the shifts they have applied for and in the Additional explanation field, refer to to the joint application for a place. The joint application proposal must be submitted by the last application date.
    13. Standard shifts, one-time bookings or bookings for events are not granted to bookers who have payment arrears.
