Baby and toddler swimming

Baby and toddler swimming is on break!

Our baby and toddler swimming will be on hiatus for about 1.2.2023 years starting February 1,5, XNUMX due to the basic improvement of the swimming hall.

Baby and toddler swimming is an active playtime shared by the family, taking place on the child's terms, under the safe guidance of a trained instructor. Swimming takes place in clean and warm water, at least +32 degrees. Swimming lessons include guided activities in groups and individually. The activity is based on an individual, child-oriented and developmental approach.

Being in the water and continuing the hobby contributes to the later learning of swimming skills and increases water safety. Special children have the opportunity to participate in baby and toddler swimming.

Baby swimming

You can start baby swimming after the child is four months old and the weight must be at least five kilos, so that he can stay warm in water of at least +32 degrees. During the first baby swimming period, a small child learns to enjoy water games and the underwater world. The child also has the opportunity to brush up on all his developing abilities by getting to know the mechanics and laws of water.

Toddler swimming

Toddler swimming is a versatile activity with equipment, both playing together and as individual guidance for children aged 1–3 years. Play in toddlers is already faster than in babies and different tasks bring new interest to being in the water. You can start swimming without baby swimming experience. The contents of the activities are always planned child-oriented, taking developmental and individual starting points into account.

You can find more information about swimming in our baby swimming brochure. Our brochure is also available in English and Russian.

  • An information session is organized before each swimming session and its time will be announced upon registration. It is not mandatory, but recommended for those coming to the course for the first time. At the information session, you will get to know the facilities of the subscription sauna, go over swimming practices and ask the baby swimming instructor about things that are puzzling your mind.
