Our baby and toddler swimming is on hiatus until autumn 2025.
Baby and toddler swimming is an active playtime shared by the family, taking place on the child's terms, under the safe guidance of a trained instructor. Swimming takes place in clean and warm water, at least +32 degrees. Swimming lessons include guided activities in groups and individually. The activity is based on an individual, child-oriented and developmental approach.
Being in the water and continuing the hobby contributes to the later learning of swimming skills and increases water safety. Special children have the opportunity to participate in baby and toddler swimming.
You can start baby swimming after the child is four months old and the weight must be at least five kilos, so that he can stay warm in water of at least +32 degrees. During the first baby swimming period, a small child learns to enjoy water games and the underwater world. The child also has the opportunity to brush up on all his developing abilities by getting to know the mechanics and laws of water.
Toddler swimming is a versatile activity with equipment, both playing together and as individual guidance for children aged 1–3 years. Play in toddlers is already faster than in babies and different tasks bring new interest to being in the water. You can start swimming without baby swimming experience. The contents of the activities are always planned child-oriented, taking developmental and individual starting points into account.
Our baby and toddler swimming is on hiatus until autumn 2025 due to a major renovation of the swimming pool.
Baby and toddler swimming costs €160/session. The price for a sibling participating in the same swimming session is €80. Siblings do not have to swim in the same group. One period consists of eight swimming times and the time spent in the pool is 30 min/time.
In addition to the baby or toddler, the price covers two adults, the use of the pool hall services (shower and sauna) and the swimming session of the sibling(s) under school age in the other pools of the pool during the hall's opening hours. Please note that baby and toddler swimming is held in a separate space in the private sauna, and a sibling going into the pools in the swimming hall needs to be accompanied by an adult.
The session fee is paid to the cashier of the swimming hall. When paying, state your child's name and the day of the week and time of your group. The period payment cannot be paid with cultural or sports benefits offered by the employer.
An information session is organized before each swimming session and its time will be announced upon registration. It is not mandatory, but recommended for those coming to the course for the first time. At the information session, you will get to know the facilities of the subscription sauna, go over swimming practices and ask the baby swimming instructor about things that are puzzling your mind.
Our baby and toddler swimming is on hiatus until autumn 2025. The swimming days for the period will be announced when registering for the new period.
Short absences do not need to be reported. For longer absences, a text message or e-mail is sufficient, indicating how long the child may be absent.
During the period, one compensation opportunity is organized on a previously announced day. You can participate once if the child has had to be absent during the current period, for example due to illness.
