Exercise calendar

One of our most important tasks at the Riihimäki City Sports Center is to increase the amount of physical activity among the municipality's residents and to offer health-promoting and maintaining exercise. The goal of exercise guidance is to produce the joy of exercise with the help of versatile indoor and outdoor exercise groups for all age groups, regardless of age and fitness level.

  • Registration

    Registration is open from June 17 to August 11, 2024, and we hope that registration will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. registration system You can also register by phone from 17 am to 20 am on June 9–11 and from 5 am to 9 am on August 9–11 at 050 562 8548.

    You can inquire about available places throughout the season.

    Due to an error in the electronic registration system, season fees cannot be paid electronically. You should not worry about the due date indicated by the program, and you will be contacted about the practice of making the payment before the start of the season.

    Participation in groups requires the age of 16 and registration in groups is binding. You can register for two gym/gym groups. Those selected for the groups will be notified by email or text message by August 20.8.2023, XNUMX. Those left without a group will not be notified separately.

    Fees

    Those who registered by phone can pay the season fee at the cash desk of the sports center (Pohjolankatu 6), and those who registered via the electronic system can pay through the system.

    • Applied exercise groups are free of charge.
    • The seasonal fee for the groups is indicated in the description of the group. The season fee is €16–€76/season/person.

    Paid groups can be canceled once during the season without arranging a replacement session. This does not apply to six-time courses. Lessons canceled for reasons beyond the control of the fitness center will not be reimbursed.

    General practices

    The group takes place when there are at least five registered persons. The insurance is valid for functions, events and events organized and supervised by the city.

The content of exercise counseling is structured according to the customer's needs and is free of charge. You can contact exercise counseling yourself if you are worried about your own well-being. Exercise counseling can also be directed through a healthcare professional.

    Body composition measurement

    We perform body composition measurements with the Inbody 770 device and the measurement costs €20. The body composition measurement tells you what your body consists of, e.g. the proportion of fat and muscle in body weight, fat percentage, fat around internal organs, fluid balance, basic metabolism.
