Exercise calendar

One of our most important tasks at the Riihimäki City Sports Center is to increase the amount of physical activity among the municipality's residents and to offer health-promoting and maintaining exercise. The goal of exercise guidance is to produce the joy of exercise with the help of versatile indoor and outdoor exercise groups for all age groups, regardless of age and fitness level.

  • Registration

    Registration period 31.7.–10.8.2023. Registration takes place via an electronic form or on weekdays from 9 am to 15 pm by calling the phone number 040 330 4740. The form opens on this page on Monday, July 31.7. at 8.00:XNUMX a.m. You can get more information about registration and groups from the corresponding physical education instructor.

    Participation in groups requires the age of 16 and registration in groups is binding. You can register for two gym/gym groups. Those selected for the groups will be notified by email or text message by August 20.8.2023, XNUMX. Those left without a group will not be notified separately.

    Guides are on break during school fall vacation week 42 and during ski vacation week eight. There are also no guided groups on Maundy Thursday, March 28.3.2024, 30.4.2023, and May Day Eve, April XNUMX, XNUMX.

    Fees

    Season fees can be paid at the maauimala cash desk (Salpausseläntie 16) after the groups start or on Sunday 17.9.2023 September XNUMX at the latest. The payment location and times for groups starting later will be announced during September.

    • Special exercise groups are free of charge.
    • The seasonal fee for the groups is indicated in the description of the group. The season fee is €16–€76/season/person.

    Paid groups can be canceled once during the season without arranging a replacement session. This does not apply to six-time courses. Lessons canceled for reasons beyond the control of the fitness center will not be reimbursed.

    General practices

    The group takes place when there are at least five registered persons. The insurance is valid for functions, events and events organized and supervised by the city.

  • The form is open between 31.7.2023 July 9 at 10.8.2023 a.m. and 24 August 82 at XNUMX p.m. With the form, you can register for a maximum of two sports groups.     Body composition measurement

    We perform body composition measurements with the Inbody 770 device and the measurement costs €20. The body composition measurement tells you what your body consists of, e.g. the proportion of fat and muscle in body weight, fat percentage, fat around internal organs, fluid balance, basic metabolism.
