The special exercise card changed to an applied exercise card on January 1, 2025.

The Technical Committee discussed the grounds and method for issuing a special exercise card at its meeting on 29 October 2024. The validity period of special exercise cards expired on 31 December 2024. No new special exercise card decisions will be made. The biggest challenge with the special exercise card was issues related to the customer's data protection. Some illnesses may also be difficult to verify and changes in health status may occur.

The Adapted Sports Card came into use on 1 January 2025. The Adapted Sports Card products are eligible for purchase with a parking badge for people with reduced mobility, a parking permit for people with disabilities, a visually impaired card or an EU disability card. The need for an assistant is verified with the A code of the EU disability card at each entrance. The discount entitled to by the Adapted Sports Card is granted at the swimming pool cashier. The Adapted Sports Card products do not have a daily time limit, as was the case with the special sports card.

The card is personal.

The use of the card and its effectiveness are monitored annually together with the senior card.
