Music studio

You can make music or record your own music in the music studio located on the second floor of the library. You can reserve the space for up to four hours at a time for non-commercial purposes. You can make a reservation in the booking calendar or by contacting the library's customer service. Contact information can be found at the bottom of the page.

The music studio is available during library opening hours when staff are present. The music studio is not available during self-study hours. Children under the age of 15 may use the music studio only with the permission of a guardian listed in their customer information. Permission is given in writing on a form that you can pick up from the library's customer service.

We do not provide personal guidance for the use of devices and programs, so we hope you know how to use the music studio independently. You can also play your own instruments in the music studio and use, for example, your own microphones in recordings. The space can accommodate 4−5 people at a time.

The space has a decibel door and a partial damping cladding has been used for sound insulation. However, the studio is not built to float, so the sound insulation is not at a professional level in this sense.
