Riihimäki Library's adult reading challenge 2025 is Olé Riihimäki – literature from different places!
The purpose of the reading challenge is to read books, listen to music or watch films that are related to a specific place. The challenge uses place names or locations from Riihimäki to describe the different topic areas of the tips. Each section contains at least one book, music or film that is somehow related to Riihimäki.

- The reading challenge is a relaxed incentive to support the hobby of reading and to get various reading tips.
- The Olé Riihimäki reading challenge aims to read or listen to one work of fiction, a non-fiction book, a music album, or watch a film about works that are set in different places.
- You can choose the works yourself, but you can also use the works selected by the library staff, which can be found in the tip booklet and listed on this page.
- You can read and listen to books and music, and watch movies at your own pace and for your own pleasure.
- List the books, albums, and movies you have read or listened to on a separate reading challenge form.
- Return the form to the library by the end of 2025 if you want to participate in the raffle.
- In addition to books, you can take advantage of what the municipalities have in common E-library, where you can find remotely accessible e-books and e-audio books. You can download the E-library application from the application store.
- In addition to discs, you can use it to listen to music Naxos Music Library service, which offers 2,7 million songs. Most of it is classical, but there is also blues and traditional music.
