Welcome to register for the Summer 2026 Street Art Club!
Are you 13–16 years old and interested in graffiti and street art? If you answered yes, you are very welcome to the street art club organized by International House Riihimäki and FunkOn in June 1-17.6!
The street art club will be held from 1 to 17 June 2026 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12 to 2 pm at Ö-talo, Öllerinkatu 9. There will be a total of 6 narrators over the three weeks.
The club teaches students how to draw and paint graffiti and street art under the guidance of professional painters. The activities take place mainly indoors, but on some days the group also goes outside to practice spray painting on a licensed graffiti wall.
There is a capacity of 15 participants and participants will be selected in the order of registration. Registration is open from 4th to 24th May 2026.

International House Riihimäki will pilot a spouse program for international spouses in the Riihimäki region during 2026. The first group will start on April 13.4th and participants are being sought now. The program will be organized in English and is free of charge for participants.
Unseen Connections is a nine-week peer-to-peer group for international students, international spouses of people who have come to Finland to work, and international spouses of Finns. The program aims to support the spouses' integration, networking, and employment, so that the entire family can settle in a new country smoothly.
The spring group will meet in person on Mondays from April 13.4 to June 8.6 to learn about changing integration themes and online on Wednesdays to study Finnish. The group size is limited to 20 participants.
For whom: Foreigners living in Riihimäki, Loppi, Hausjärvi or Janakkala who have moved to the region for their spouse and want to establish their own networks.

Olkkari is a common living room open to all Riihimäki residents. Free time, games, activities, bingo, coffee, tea and snacks. Come and feel at home!
Olkkari is held at Antoni's house every second Friday (even-numbered weeks). There is no need to register for the activity.

Learning Finnish together in a relaxed way around different themes. The group meets at the Parliament Building. Come and learn Finnish together in a relaxed way! We will cover different themes related to Finnish life together in a way that suits the language level of the participants. No separate registration, you can join at any time. At Digi Club, we learn together how to use digital services in Finland. The meetings are relaxed and open — you can ask questions and learn in peace. We take turns going through different digital services, such as Suomi.fi, online banks and Kela.
Have you moved to Finland from abroad, but haven't found a job here? Come to the job search club to improve your job search skills and learn about job searching in Finland!
Participants will learn, among other things, how to write an effective resume, clearly describe their skills, and we will also tell you what to say and what not to say in job interviews.
