Volunteering

Join us for volunteering!

As a volunteer, you can do something meaningful and at the same time develop your own skills. You can offer time and support to someone who needs it. You can be young, of working age or of retirement age. The most important thing is that you have the desire to help and do good.

There are many kinds of volunteer tasks, such as acting as a friend or helper for an elderly person living at home, and guiding a group, for example In a rickshaw. You can also always suggest what kind of volunteer work you would like to make the elderly happy with. We are happy to try new types of activities.

As a volunteer, you act in your own person with the knowledge, skills and experiences of an ordinary person. Volunteering does not replace professional work, but complements it. As the name suggests, voluntary work is based on volunteering, and no monetary compensation is paid for it. The reward is a good mood for both the helper and the person being helped.

More volunteers are always needed. We help you find your own way of volunteering. If you have the opportunity to help, feel free to contact us!

At the moment, elderly people living at home especially need an outdoor and conversation club, as well as chaperones who enable them to participate in Riksula's activities, for example.
