The aim of the environmental protection regulations of the city of Riihimäki is to prevent environmental pollution.
The regulations are valid in the entire area of the city of Riihimäki, and they oblige everyone operating in the area of the city, such as residents, property owners and operators, regardless of their place of residence. In addition, special regulations have been issued for groundwater and flood risk areas and coastal zones.
The environmental protection authority of Riihimäki can, for a special reason, grant a permit to deviate from the environmental protection regulations on application in individual cases.
On 28.3.2018 March 35, § 1.6.2018, the Environmental Protection and Building Control City Board Sub-Committee approved the environmental protection regulations of the city of Riihimäki, which entered into force on XNUMX June XNUMX.
