Peukaloinen block plot transfer competition 9-12/2020

The competition proposal "quattro" was selected as the winner of the land transfer competition for the Peukaloinen block located in the Asemanpuisto area of ​​Riihimäki, which was implemented in cooperation with NCC Rakennus Oy and Arkkitehtipalvelu Oy. The competition proposal "quattro" also won the public vote with 140 of the 207 votes cast.

Design competition for architects, designers, builders and developers

Competition technical information:

• The competition started on Tuesday 15.9.2020 September XNUMX.

• The presentation of the opening and competition program was organized in the auditorium of Kalevantalo in Riihimäki on September 14.9. at 15 p.m.
• Supplements, corrections, additional instructions and other possible issues related to the competition program were published only on the competition website.

The goal of the competition was to determine the quality level for the high-level design and implementation of the Asemanpuisto area. The task of the groups participating in the competition was to design the buildings and functions of the competition area of ​​the Peukaloinen quarter. The groups can also prepare a rough general plan for the reference area of ​​the competition around Kottaraispuisto.

Based on the plan, a site plan change will be prepared for the area of ​​the Peukaloinen quarter. The starting point for the design of the competition area was the collaboration between the construction company and the planning office. The builder partner of the winning group will receive the right to redeem plots significant in the new site plan as a prize.

In 500, a traffic noise survey and a vibration and frame noise survey were prepared for the construction of a block of residential buildings at a distance of 2009 meters along the Pohjoisen Rautatinkatu.
