Inspections during construction work

The permit decision defines which inspections will be carried out during the construction work. Order the inspections, unless otherwise stated, from building control no later than three days before they are delivered. The builder or his representative must be present at the inspection. The builder must ensure that the site inspection document can be inspected and/or signed by the inspector at the construction site.

Bottom view

The bottom inspection is carried out when the reinforcement of the sensor is visible before the casting work

Location overview

Structural survey

The structural inspection is carried out after the building's frame and other load-bearing structures have been completed. These structures may not be covered before the structural inspection.

Inspection of the oil heating plant

The inspection of the oil heating system is carried out within three months of the commissioning of the oil heating system. The installation company orders an inspection from the rescue authority.

Partial final review

A partial final inspection will be carried out before the premises are put into operation. The general conditions for commissioning are set out in a separate appendix. Read more about the partial final review.

Final review

The final inspection is carried out when the building and yard arrangements are complete. The building and the surroundings must be in a condition according to the approved drawings.

Inspections required by other authorities and installations

• Underground oil tanks: An installation inspection of the tank is carried out before it is covered.
• Electrical installations: In all semi-detached houses and smaller construction projects, the electrical contractor must carry out a commissioning inspection of their installations before the premises are put into operation. The report of this inspection must be included in the partial final inspection carried out by the building inspector at the construction site.
