Station plan and station plan change
The purpose of the zoning was to enable the preservation of the halls built with a temporary building permit in VR's goods terminal area and the development of the logistics and terminal operations area.
The area is located about a kilometer south of Riihimäki railway station, in the area between the main railway and Arolammintie.

The design work was started at the landowner's request. The zoning work was done as a consultant under the guidance and supervision of the city of Riihimäki. A land use agreement was made in connection with the plan change.

The City Council decided at its meeting on June 8.6.2020, 193 (§ 16.6) to make the VR terminal area's site plan and site plan change proposal available for viewing. On August 24.8.2020, 246, the site plan of VR's terminal area and the site plan change were under consideration by the city council, § XNUMX (protocol). The city government decided to present the plan proposal to the city council for approval.
After the City Hall's consideration, a change was made to the site plan map. It was not necessary to make the plan proposal public again (MRA § 32), because it did not change substantially and the parties affected by the change were consulted separately. Since a change was made to the plan proposal, it was necessary to prepare the plan proposal again for consideration by the city board. The site plan of the VR terminal area and the site plan change were again discussed by the city council on 15.3.2021 March 97 § XNUMX. The city council decided to present the city council with the approval of the plan.
In its decision of 19.4.2021 April 38, the city council approved § XNUMX VR's terminal area site plan and site plan change.
