Cultivation plots

The city rents 25 renovated soil 50 m² cultivation plots in Peltosaari From the park in Bad Segeberg. The plot rent is €20 per year.

The area is unfenced, and there is no supervision organized by the city. You can get irrigation water from the nearby park pond or Vantaanjoki. We cultivate the entire plot area in the spring, weather permitting, and mark the plots, after which cultivation can begin. Perennial plants and any equipment used in cultivation must not be left on the plots for the next year, they must be removed by the end of October. Parking of cars in the park is prohibited. Reserving a plot of land

To reserve a plot, please contact us by February 28, 2025 by email at tarja.kantola@riihimaki.fi. You can also send a letter to the address City of Riihimäki, VO Mäkinen katu 2, 11120 Riihimäki. Mark the envelope with “plots for cultivation”. Your name, address and phone number must be included. If there are more willing tenants than plots, we will hold a lottery. We will invoice the rent afterwards.
