The general part and justifications for the waste management regulations have been prepared as background material for the actual waste management regulations. The general part includes, among other things, background information on waste legislation and waste management operators. The general part does not contain binding regulations. In the explanatory part, the content of the regulations and their application are interpreted, as well as the legislation on the basis of which the regulations were issued.

From the point of view of residents, the most important changes in the new waste management regulations concern the emptying intervals of waste containers and the obligation to collect plastic packaging waste, which has entered into force in stages from 1.1.2021 January 31.5.2022, but no later than XNUMX May XNUMX.

The emptying interval and self-handling of sedimentation and closed well sludge remain unchanged, but the waste board reminds you to notify the waste board about self-handling. If self-processing concerns the sludge of a maximum of four residential properties, a deviation from the waste management regulations must be requested from the waste board. You cannot bring mixed waste, clothes, cardboard, glass, paper, Styrofoam, wood, durable wood, bricks, concrete, tires, plastic or garden waste to the depot's collection point.

From August 1.8.2023, XNUMX, there will be a waste textile collection container in the area. Only clean and dry textiles packed well in a plastic bag can be put in it. Wet and moldy fabrics and clothes are still put in mixed waste, as are bags, shoes, belts, etc.

The Waste Board performs the official tasks of organizing waste management in accordance with the Waste Act and jointly agreed upon by the cooperatives.

The waste committee, among other things, approves waste management regulations and decides on deviations from waste management regulations (for example, an extended waste container emptying interval), approves waste tax, sets waste fees and processes reminders regarding waste fees and requests for rationalization of waste fees. In addition, the waste board decides on the principles of waste transportation and maintains a customer register for waste management on properties.
