Riihimäki is a dynamically growing vocational college town, located within easy reach of the Helsinki-Tampere highway.
Our growth is based on professional expertise in information and media technology, as well as in the engineering and marketing sectors.
Today, the municipality of Riihimäki is carrying out an active business development policy. Our basic social services are successfully managed. We have advanced commercial services, good cultural life and versatile recreational and leisure time opportunities.
The main principles of our activities are high quality, cost efficiency and flexibility. We put special emphasis on the development of existing enterprises and promote the establishment of new ones.
We strive for the comfort and well-being of the newcomers to our town, and of course that of the present residents of town.
Riihimäki has taken its place among the growing and prosperous towns of Finland.
